JAPAN TRIP - Spring cherry Blossom Festival flower viewing 春 桜 満開 桜祭り 花見

Hot Spots in Japan – Travel in Japan Cherry Blossom festival Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) has been a Japanese custom since the 7th century when the aristocrats enjoyed looking at beautiful sakura and wrote poems. Sakura is a symbol of Japan, and it’s said that there are over four hundred varieties of cherry trees in Japan. The most popular kind of sakura which can be viewed everywhere in Japan is somei-yoshino (Yedoensis). Japanese cherry trees do not yield fruits like other cherry trees. Hanami “flower viewing” is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, “flower” in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms , or ume blossoms From mid January to early May, sakura bloom all over Japan. The blossom forecast is announced each year by the weather bureau, and is watched carefully by those planning hanami as the blossoms only last a week or two. In modern-day Japan, hanami mostly consists of having an outdoor party beneath the sakura during daytime or at night. Hanami at night is called yozakura . In many places such as Ueno Park temporary paper lanterns are hung for the purpose of yozakura. This is Cherry Blossom Festival held in Japanese Chiba Castle. To je Češnjev Rascvjetati festival v japonski Chiba grad. sakura

-Japan Travel TV here- www.youtube.com Took me too long to edit this video. Thanks all you guys for waiting! I might have drifted off too far to the left with cinematic music. I edited the whole thing with iMovie, and I found out that editing a movie with over an hour of original FULL HD footage will kill the software. The editing became too insane. So I learned Final Cut Pro and started Japan Travel TV! So far I filmed Akihabara Maid Cafe & Maid Hair Salon Akihabara Robot Center Edo Castle Narita Airport Guide (finishing editing as I type) How to exchange business cards and Tokyo Night in Shinjuku, where Blade Runner’s Neo-Tokyo concept was first conceived. Oh, and I filmed a Honda Dog event and they agreed to let me use their cars when ever I want. Sweet! Anyways I hope you enjoy this movie! I will do a more comprehensive video next year when the season reopens! The movie was shot with Panasonic gh-1. Here’s where you want to stay on Mt. Fuji, its the place in the video! www.kamaiwakan.jpn.org

Mike and Naoko found romance through the Internet with Naoko first visiting Mike in England. This video illustrates a book that concentrates on two months when Mike visited Naoko in Japan The book is jointly authored by Mike and Naoko visited, and is written as a diary with Mike writing first and Naoko writing her views based upon his entries and adding her Japanese slant. The places visited included the ancient capitals Kyoto and Nara, the nuclear-bombed cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the hot spring towns of Beppu and Yufuin, and Mount Aso, the world’s largest caldera. There were some fascinating experiences including an earthquake of force 7, coach tours with all the passengers being Japanese, attending Naoko’s daughter’s degree award (a remarkable experience seeing the women students all dressed in kimonos), sleeping in a freezing temple, indulging in numerous hot spring baths, visits to endless temples and shrines, driving on empty motorways, almost causing an international incident in the swimming baths, and becoming five year-old Momoko’s toy monster.
