The show was taped at Universal Studios in Florida in 2002. It is shown at the theme park’s “Cinema 4-D Theater”, along with Shrek’s 4-D Adventure. Since March 2008 the attraction, in its original shot English form, is also showing at SeaWorld, California, but has been renamed “Lights, Camera, Imagination!” for US-audiences. The show’s basic theme is imagination. In a projection room, the Sesame Street Film Festival is being held, and everyone is busy adding final touches to their films. The first preview is a western flick made by (and starring) The Count, entitled The Counting Kid Counts Again which was filmed in the Arbor area. The second preview is Prairie Dawn’s sci-fi/adventure film Pretty Space Ponies, which stars her along with Telly, Zoe and the Two-Headed Monster as the title characters. Suddenly, the projector breaks. Disappointed, everyone leaves the room. Elmo, being the only one left, has an idea that everyone can still show their movies by using their imaginations. Elmo leaves the room and guests enter the main theater. As soon as everyone is in the main theater, Big Bird, seen with two anonymous Twiddlebugs …

Moving onto Japan where Latino laborers are feeling the pinch of the global economic slowdown. Now they’re faced with a choice of staying in Japan, or receiving some money from the Japanese government to return to Latin America. In Toyota City, home to the world’s largest automaker, nearly 80 percent of local Latino laborers have lost their jobs at auto parts factories. Some of them are living in destitution and depend on food aid to feed themselves and their families. In response, the Japanese government suggests they go back to live in Latin America. The workers are being offered 300000 yen (about 00 US dollars) and an additional 200000 yen (00 US dollars) for a dependent, to compensate for their travel and moving expenses.Accepting the offer means having their work visas revoked. [Gaby Semorile, Peruvian Worker]: “I believe the economic situation will get better eventually, sooner or later. And that’s when they are going to need manual labor again. If they dump us and other foreigners who have supported Japan’s manufacturing sector, where are they going to get those laborers from? Practically, they are trying to dump us from Japan.” [Walter Koyama, Peruvian Worker]: “We, young generations, are doing all we can to stay in Japan. To accept the Japanese government’s offer of 300000 yen in exchange for our visa will take away our chances of being able to come back to Japan in the future. And there are no jobs in our countries, either.” Some unemployed Latinos have …

The ride is based on the movie ET the Extra-Terrestrial. It will also open at Universal Studios Singapore in 2010. TV monitors above guests’ heads display the filmmakers disscussing their experience on creating the film as well as ET trivia. There are also ET posters from the film’s 20th Anniversary re-release on display near the end of the queue. Guests are then ushered into the pre-show room. [edit] Pre-Show Before going into the interior queue, Steven Spielberg appears on TV screens above us and tells us that ET’s teacher Botanicus needs ET to come to his home world, “The Green Planet” because the planet is dying. Only ET’s magical healing touch can save the planet, so it is up to the guests to bring him home. He also tells the guests that you make your journey on bikes, and that you need a “Interplanetary Passport” to get there. The guests then enter a second room where they give their name to one of Speilberg’s assistants which is …

Don’t let the concrete and highway overpasses deceive you: once you scratch the surface a little, you’ll find that Osaka is friendly, lively, and so charming.
Osaka Castle
Start your day with a bit of culture. Proudly standing in the middle of the city is magnificent Osaka-jo.
Although the original 1583 structure completely burned down last century, it’s been fully re-constructed and re-furbished.
The interior of the castle presents eight stories displaying a great collection of documents and artifacts. The castle grounds are especially lovely during cherry blossom season in early April, but if you missed it, the park is always great for a stroll and a picnic, at any time of the year.

Tokyo is the capital of Japan and one of the biggest cities in the country. The latest available information says that Tokyo is home to over twelve million people. These citizens reside in the region that includes twenty-six cities, twenty-three wards, eight villages and five towns.
Up until 1868, Tokyo went by the name “Edo” which was the name of a sixteenth century Japanese castle. When Shogun Tokugawa Leyasu came to power and established feudal authority, they went back to the old name of Tokyo and became the recognized center of Japan. In only a short time the region grew by attracting the best and brightest people in all of Japan. Soon Tokyo was the hub of the nation; contributing to the growth of the economy, technology, business and tourism.
When the Meiji Dynasty was restored, the palace of the emperor was moved from Kyoto to Edo. These were years of great growth and progress. There were also unthinkable catastrophes. In 1923, a major earthquake damaged significant parts of the city. In 1945, firebombs from the sky by the Americans turned the city into an inferno.
Just like its neighbor Osaka, Tokyo has always depended on its state-of-the-art railway stations. Compared to other city railways systems, like Los Angeles, Tokyo is light years ahead. The city engineers are entirely to thank for this great achievement. They began work on the trains as soon as the population began to grow. The result is a system that has no problem accommodating one of the busiest business districts in the entire world.
Most people are shocked when they find that the bustling metropolis of Tokyo began as a simple fishing village. By 1603, the village was chosen to be the new home of Tokugawa and it grew with blinding speed. By 1885, the city was already experiencing a congestion problem. That is when the Yamonote line stepped in and built Japan’s great train line.
Despite its many setbacks and tragedies, Tokyo has always proven to be a vibrant and resilient city. In a very short span of time, they have gone from a mostly wooden city to one of the most modern metropolises on the face of the earth.
